Lubrication method of high speed punch ball head

The structure of the ball head and its associated parts is one of the core devices of the high speed punch, and it mainly realizes three functions on the high speed punch:
One is the height adjustment of the punch slider;
The second is the oil pressure overload protection and the elimination of the thread gap between the adjusting nut and the guide column screw;
The third is that the guide post screw drives the slider to reciprocate up and down for stamping. Since the structure of the high-speed punch ball head and its associated parts has many functions and complex structures, most of the ball head ball structures currently used are oil-immersed and lubricated. The oil flows down from the oil chamber by gravity, and then lubricates the ball head, ball bowl and other parts. This lubricating method cannot recycle the lubricating oil.

Since the oil-immersed lubricating oil pressure is close to zero, when the punch press is working at high speed and heavy load, the relative movement speed of the ball head and the bowl is fast, and the contact surface gap is close to zero. It is difficult for the lubricating oil to enter the contact surface, and it is easy to produce ball head balls. Bowl heating, rapid wear, burns and other problems will affect the running accuracy of the slider and cause the punch to not work normally.
