Structural Analysis of High Speed Punch Die

2022-12-30

The mold structure of the high speed punch press is analyzed according to the products to be stamped. There are C-type high-speed punch presses and gantry high-speed punch presses.
High speed punch die structure
1. Upper mold

The upper mold is the upper half of the entire mold, that is, the part of the mold that is installed on the slide of the press.

2. Upper mold base
The upper die base is a plate-shaped part on the upper part of the mold. The workpiece is close to the press slide, and passes through the mold or is directly fixed with the press slide.

3. Bottom mold
The lower mold is the lower half of the entire mold, that is, the mold part installed on the working surface of the press.

4. Bottom mold base
The lower mold base is a plate-shaped part at the bottom of the mold, which is directly fixed on the working table or backing plate of the press.

5. Edge wall
The edges of the walls are the side walls of the die hole.

6. Slope
The slope of the edge is the slope of each side of the die hole.

7. Air cushion
The air cushion is a projectile powered by compressed air.

8. Anti-party briquettes
The backrest is the part that supports the unidirectional force punch from the other side of the work surface.

9. Bushing
The guide sleeve is a precision guiding tubular part used for the relative movement of the upper and lower mold bases. Most of them are fixed in the upper mold base and used in conjunction with the guide pillars fixed on the lower mold base.

10. Guide
The guide plate is a plate-shaped part of the punch with a precision sliding hole of the punch, which is used to ensure that the punch and the die are aligned with each other and has the function of unloading.

11. Guide bar
The guide column is a precision guiding cylindrical part used for the relative movement of the upper and lower mold bases, most of which are fixed on the lower mold base and used in conjunction with the guide sleeve fixed on the upper mold base.

12. Guide pin
Push pins are pin-shaped parts that extend into the orifice and are guided in the mold.

13. Guide plate mold
The guide plate die is guided by the die, and the die is not used when the punch leaves the guide plate.

14. Guide plate
The material guide plate is a plate-shaped guide that guides the strip (strip, coil) into the mold.

15. The guide post mold is a sliding mold base for guide posts and guide sleeves.
16. Die
The punch press is installed on the press and used to produce blank parts, which are combined with the upper and lower parts.

17. Punch
The punch is a convex working part formed directly in the die, that is, a part with the shape of the working surface.

18. Die
The die is a concave working part that directly forms a stamping function in the die, that is, a part with the inner surface as the working surface.

19. Protective plate
The protective plate is a plate-shaped part that prevents fingers or foreign objects from entering the hazardous area of the die.

20. Pressure plate
The platen (ring) is the part of the die that holds the stamped material or workpiece to control the flow of the material.
In the drawing die, the pressing plate is mostly called the material ring.

21. Pressure bar
Struts are rib-like protrusions in a drawing or drawing die that control the flow of material.
Buckles can be part of a mold or pressure ring, or can be embedded in a mold or pressure-separated part.

22. Pressure Threshold
Pressure Threshold is a special material with a rectangular cross-section.

23. Bearing plate
The carrier plate is a plate-shaped part used to fix the formwork on a plane.

24. Continuous mode
The continuous mold is a mold with two or more stations, and the material is sent to the stations through the stamping stroke, so that the punch is gradually formed.

25. Side
The side edge is the punch that cuts the feed gap on the side of the strip (strip, coil).

26. Side panels
A side plate is a plate-like part where a spring applies pressure to one side of the strip (strip, coil) urging the other side against the plate.

27. Mandrel
A mandrel is a rod-shaped part that moves up and down, directly or indirectly.

28. Crown plate
The top plate is a plate-shaped part that acts directly or indirectly up or down in the mold or module.

29. Ring gear
The ring gear is the denture protrusion on the fine blanking or die, and is a partial structure of the die or tooth plate, rather than a separate part.

30. Limit sets
The limit sleeve is a tubular part that limits the minimum closing height of the mold, and is generally placed outside the guide post.

31. Limit column
The limit post is a cylindrical member that limits the minimum closed height of the mould.

32. Locating pin (plate)
The positioning pin (plate) is a part that ensures that the workpiece has a constant position in the mold, and its shape is called a positioning pin or a positioning plate.

33. Fixed plate
The mounting plate is a plate-like part that holds the punch.

34. Fixed unloading plate
The fixed discharge plate is a discharge plate fixed on the mold. (See "Discharge Board").

35. Fixed stop pin (plate)
Fixed stop pins (plates) are fixed pins (plates) that are fixed in the mold.

36. Unloader
The unloader is a non-sheet part or device that unloads from the outer surface of the punch.

37. Unloading board
A stripper plate is a fixed or movable plate-like part that repositions material or parts from a punch.
The discharge plate is sometimes combined with the guide plate to play a guiding role, and it is still called the discharge plate.

38. Discharge screw
The discharge screw is a screw fixed on the ejector plate to limit the static position of the ejector plate.

39. Single process mode
A single-step mold is a mold that only completes one process in one stroke of the press.

40. Scrap cutting machine
There are two types of scrap cutters.
1. One blade is used to cut a full circle of trimming waste for easy removal.
2. The cutting machine attached to the press or the mold is used to cut the waste into strips (strips, rolls) according to a certain length for cleaning.

41. Combined mold
The combined mold is a general-purpose, step-by-step adjustable set mold composed of various geometric elements (straight lines, angles, arcs, holes).
The outline of the planar shape generally requires stamping several pairs of dies.

42. Front stop pin (plate)
The front stop pin (plate) is a part that starts to position the material. Used to stop pin (plate) movement.

43. block
Blocks are made from complete dies, punches, strippers or fixed plates.

44. Stopper
A stop (plate) is a hardened part of the material being cut by the cutting edge, used to balance the cutting forces on one side of the edge insert.
Baffles (plates) are generally used in conjunction with side blades.

45. Stop pin (plate)
The stop pin (plate) is the positioning part of the material in the feeding direction, and its shape is different, called the stop pin or the baffle plate.
The baffle (plate) is a general term for the fixed baffle (plate), the movable baffle (plate), and the starting baffle (plate).

46. Pad
The backing plate is a hardened plate-shaped part between the mounting plate (or mold) and the mold base to reduce the unit compressive stress of the mold base.
